Poet Leslie Beebe is a part of the San Diego poetry performance group, Mightier Pens. She also has a chapbook out and is currently working on her second entitled The Heartbreak Chronicles. We get real on things like audience connection and broken hearts. The greatest misconception about poetry? That it’s all lala romance and flowers. The best piece of advice? Keep writing.
